Good Morning....

Just to let everyone know what is going on with my brothers. Darrell is back home again, hopefully will stay home this time. Thank you for your prayers for him.
Mark, well each day is a roller coaster. One day is good and one is not so good. We are fully depending on God to do a miracle. They did some more test to check the swallowing and he CAN NOT swallow anything they say, so they did a minor surgery to put in a main feeding tube. He will come home with. All CTI's and CAT scans show that everything is good so there has to be some nerve damage to his face and throat. Mark has become very conscious of his face and the fact that everyone is staring at him. So this has begin to bother him. He needs to wear his patch over his eye, because this is this most noticeable. But he will not wear it. He keeps telling us he is hungry and this makes everyone feel bad and he is very thirsty. We can give him ice chips and a small amount of water. If he takes his time he can get a very small amount down, a little at a time. The problem is he wants to drink a gallon as he tells us and when he does that, he get's chocked and the doctors DO NOT want him to do this because it can go into his lungs and cause another serious problem. So everything is touch and go, a very slow progress.
If you happen to go see Mark, we are asking you to not ask or talk about the feeding tube, he does not want people to know about this. We can hide it with his shirts. Thank you.
The doctor has told Leslie that they may let him come home this week. I am asking you all to keep praying. Pray for Mark to continue healing but for Leslie as well. Mark is being very difficult to handle. He wants to just get up and walk, and eat and do whatever he wants to but he can not. He still has some memory loss and is talking a little nonsense. This is very hard to watch because if you know my brother, he is very outgoing and does things for himself. He is very dependant. He will have to have help with alot of things and this makes him very aggravated with everyone that is trying to help him. We are all trying to make arrangements to go help Leslie out and to help give her a break, but Mark will not let just everyone help. My mom, myself and my brothers will have to jump in and help her. This has been very emotional on Leslie. She has been by his side since Last Wednesday and has not even stepped outside the hospital. She has been a trooper. Thank you Leslie.
So we are just asking everyone to keep praying. The kids are having a hard time seeing their dad like this also. So please pray for Devyn, Logan, Hunter, and Chandler also.
Thank you and we know there are people praying all around the world for him. God is faithful and He is going to keep doing a work in Mark that is going to change alot of people. The miralce we need to see. Mark has such a influence on people that when he gets fully healed, he will be able to tell them what God has done for him. God left Mark here for a reason and we are going to be able to watch this miracle happen. Praise God...Thank You.
